RV Rental in New Jersey: Your Complete Guide to Camping in the Garden State
Why Rent a Camper in New Jersey?
New Jersey might be known for the Turnpike, but the Garden State has some seriously underrated camping. Pine Barrens, Delaware Water Gap, even spots along the shore—there's way more variety here than people realize.
And you don't need to own an RV or know how to tow one. We deliver fully-equipped campers to campgrounds all over New Jersey. Just pick your spot and show up.
Top Campgrounds in New Jersey
Wharton State Forest (Pine Barrens)
The largest single tract of land in the NJ park system. If you want to feel like you're actually in the wilderness—without driving six hours—this is it.
The Pine Barrens have this eerie, beautiful vibe. Great for kayaking, stargazing, and getting away from everything.
Distance from High Bridge: About 1.5 hours
Round Valley Recreation Area
One of our favorites. The reservoir is gorgeous—especially early morning when the water's still and you've got the whole place to yourself.
Good fishing, easy trails, and close enough for a quick weekend trip.
Distance from High Bridge: About 30 minutes
Bass River State Forest
Deep in the Pine Barrens. Lake Absegami has a nice swimming area, and the campground is quiet. Like, really quiet.
If you're looking to unplug and not see a lot of people, this is a good pick.
Distance from High Bridge: About 2 hours
Spruce Run Recreation Area
Super close to us, so delivery is easy. It's popular with fishing folks, but also just a nice, low-key spot for families.
Nothing fancy—just good camping.
Distance from High Bridge: About 15 minutes
Cheesequake State Park
This one surprises people. It's right off the Parkway, but once you're inside, it doesn't feel like it.
You get this cool mix of coastal and inland environments—boardwalk trails through marshland, pine forests, the whole thing. Sites fill up fast in summer, so book early.
Distance from High Bridge: About 45 minutes
Why Us?
We're Local
We live here. We've camped at most of these spots ourselves. When you ask us for a recommendation, we're not reading off a list—we're telling you what we actually think.
We Handle Everything
We deliver the camper, set it up, walk you through how everything works, and pick it up when you're done. You just show up and enjoy your trip.
You're Working With a Family
When you call, you're talking to Jen or Kevin. Not a call center. We care about your trip because we know how much these experiences matter.
What Makes NJ Camping Worth It?
Variety. Pine Barrens feel totally different from the shore, which feels totally different from the Highlands. You don't have to drive far to get a real change of scenery.
Less crowded. Everyone heads to the Poconos or upstate NY. Meanwhile, NJ campgrounds often have availability—even in peak season.
Easy to get to. Most spots are under 2 hours from NYC or Philly. Quick enough for a weekend, no big road trip required.
Our Campers
We've got four, and they're all a little different:
All of them come fully stocked. Just bring clothes, food, and towels.
